Pediocactus
bradyi var knowltonii
Okay
so it's not currently in flower but it was so beautiful back
in early April I thought you all might like to share it with
me. Only eight flowers this year but it has produced another
tiny head during the winter as it did last year.
The
flowers stay open for about four days, longer if the weather
is on the cool side.
Raised
from seed obtained from a specialist cactus seed supplier in
1987.
Kept dry in winter at the lowest temperature naturally achievable
- usually about 22 degrees F. ( minus 6 degrees C.)
